Multitasking at its best

Hello Bangalore...... This city has many Names, right from being a Garden city to Silicon Valley of India to IT hub.It is also which is a bith place of e-commerce companies (or start ups as they are commonly called). There are many name and fame associated with Bangalore. But there is one thin that People of Rest of India might not be aware about Bangalore and its people. NO, I am not talking about the great traffic Congestion of this great city. I am talking about the Multi Tasking ability of People of Bangalore...Yes you all heard it reight. People of Bangalore are multitasking. Bangaloreans can drive and simultaneously talk on the phone. Wheather it is a 18 year young person or 68 year oldies...they all can take call while they are driving. There are all sorts of Driver from 2 wheelers to Bus driver, from car driver to Truck drivers, from Auto drivers to taxi drivers all of them can drive. I feel like a fool in front of these people (as I always park my vehcile on the side to take a call while driving). I think I am not multitasking which is a very unique trait and every employer seeks this quality while hiring anyone. this mmeans my chances of Getting hired is diminished. OMG...what should I do...Should I also try to talk on phone while driving or there are some other ways by which I can develop this trait. Two wheelers drivers carry an extra weight in their hand while driving. They carry Helmet in their hand. Dont understand the logic. If i dont want to wear it why to buy it and why to carry it. OK..i got it...They will wear it when they see a "Hawaldar" standing ar junction or when they go on highway. There might be two reason for it, one the "Hawaldar" will hit them on head with their lathis so they want to protect their head against hawaldar's lathi, and second is that they are damm sure that their heads will get injured win only thoes accidents that happen on Highways and not on any aother roads....hmmmm...interesting. It is same like carrying a condom and not using it. Data shows that number of people dying in Road accident per year in India is more that Soldiers or policeman dying at the hands of extremist. But we know that these are high risk jobs and probability of injury is more. But why are we risking the lives of ourselves and others on Road. It is our responsibility to ensure that our road remain safe for us and for others. But how can we make other people understand this (mostly the people who are talking on phone while driving) and make them more responsible. Any Suggestions..!!!

PrOuD tO bE aN iNdIaN...../////

First thing that will cone to your mind while reading this post is why this stupid fellow has written the title in such an awkward manner..? isn't it. Well there is a significance in writing the title in this unusual way which u will understand at the end of this blog when i disclose it....meanwhile continue reading my thoughts...

Yesterday while waiting for the bus i bought a newspaper so that i can read it and kill the time (main kabhi kabhi newspaper padh bhi let hun). As usual as per my habit i skipped all the headlines and headed directly to sports column. one by one I was scanning all the sport headlines and suddenly my eyeballs struck to one headline. It was about Umpire Decision Review System (UDRS) which is currently used in World Cup. For who does not know about UDRS, let me just give you a glimpse of what exactly it is. It is a unique system in which either team can challenge on field umpire for their decision. This technology i widely accepted by most team in cricketing world except India who is against using URDS. Let me come back to the point. This system is useful in some cases as LBW, but useless in cases of close catch in which ball might have hit the batsman thigh or pad and given caught behind. There is a technology called Hot Spot. This technology shows where the ball has hit by leaving a mark on bat, pad or anywhere else.

Now moving to the point, this technology is patented by Warren Brennan of BBG sports. This company is not very enthusiastic about bringing this technology to India. Do you know why..??? Because of logistical precedents and lack of will by Indian administrators. These are minor issue, the major one is Warren Brennan of BBG sports have said that revelation about Australian companies owing millions of dollars and have their equipment held up in India after the common wealth games was "the straw the broke the camel's back". They think that risk involved is too high. There are many companies who are not paid for their services in CWG and their equipments are impounded. Apart from this Indians have came up with every excuse from their book for why it has happened.

I don't think such allegations by any anyone will make us comfortable. If all the allegation are true, then i am confuse wheather to feel proud or not. The unusual way of writing the title explains my confuse state of mind.

I am still confuse

Great week for Indian Sports Lover

WOW...!!!!! What a great two week it was for Indian sports fraternity. On one side Indian cricket team once again showed its supremacy in International cricket and on other side India showed in commonwealth games why it is called as next Superpower. These achievement were gradual but consistent. The performance of Indian athletes are improving day by day. First let us talk about CWG, the game which was in news for all wrong reasons even before the start of the games. But India managed to pull off a brilliant show not even in organising the event but also by their outstanding performance. Its a great achievement not only for current atheletes but also for future athelete who would have already identified their role models. For me the best athelete was Gagan Narang. He is a kind of guy who is never "satisfied" with his own performance which pushes him to do better everytime he is in hte shooting area.

As far as Performance of Indian cricket team is concern it stole some lime light from CWG by their outstanding performance. Collective effort of Team showed what they are capable of doing on any given day. Who would have thought that India would defeat Australia 2-0. It was a worst defeat of Australia in 28 years. Mohali test was ultimate and so was Bangalore test.

Indian sports has already shown what they can achieve. Now they have to just maintain the momentum and set new standards for them and other sportsperson to follow. I wish to see India grow as sports dominant Nation also apart from Economic superpower. I wish to see India Host Olyampic in my life time. I hope that this Dream of mine is fullfilled

What common man thinks on Ayodhya issue

These days where ever I go, only one issue is most talked about i.e. Ayodhya. Some days back the mess up of Commonwealth games, but now the attention has shifted to one of the most hypersensitive issue. The ayodhya verdict is to be announced on 30/sep/2010 at 3:30 pm. The common feeling among people is more or less similar. Majority of people among Minority group feels that verdict should be acceptable to one and all and even Majority of people in Majority group feels the same.

There are some basic questions that need to be answered by these so called spiritual leader.
1. What will Common man gain if either temple or mosque is built at the disputed site?
2. Was ever these common ma were asked about their views on the issue

Today's public has become more mature. After the 1992 riot people have understand that these issues are meant for the advantage of these leaders and politicians. Wheather it is LORD RAMA or ALLAH, none of them have said to worship them by killing people in their name. If LORD RAMA and PROPHET MOHAMMAD would be alive today, they would be crying seeing people fighting for them. Making a GOD house by destroying house of million people is not worth.

I appeal to people of my age and my generation of each and every commuity to come forward and stand united in this moment of uncertanity that our nation is facing. We have more big issue to be woried about then these so called issues created by some highly religious people.

FOR JUDGEMENT DAY INDIA IS READY. WHATEVER THE RESULT IS WE STAND UNITED. WE HAVE ;EARNT FROM OUR PAST MISTAKE, SAME MISTAKE IS NOT GOING TO BE REPAEATED AGAIN.

The ayodhya vedict is finally going to be delivered on 30th of September 2010. The situation is very tensed these days. People have started taking precautionary measures. BEST buses in mumbai have installed those iron shield. Whatever the verdict will be, one thing is for sure, innocent and common people will suffer the most. The so called Dharam Guru will try to make us feel inferior and will provoke us to do something. But my dear friend Please do no listen to them. They are not the ones who will come to help you or your family in trouble. These people will only use you for fulfilling their desire.

The real truth is that common man is not at all bothered if you build temple or mosque at Ayodhya. The issue that common man is sufferring with is inflation. If only you want to do something for common people help them fight inflation.

I appeal to my fellow Indians what ever the verdict is, RESPECT it

Satisfaction

The word satisfaction in itself is a complete set of our world. If you are satisfied with your achievement then there is no scope for improvement for you. It is this word which makes you feel that you have done everything possible and now no need to work any harder. Have you ever wondered why Sachin Tendulkar is best batsman today also at the age of 37. This is because he is not satisfied.
The moment you are satisfied you loose your focus. I have seen people starting your day at 6:00 in morning and working till 12:00 in midnight. I always wondered what gave them so much energy to work. When I was child i wondered why some students are so excited to come to school everyday. I got answer now. These people love what they do. They are not satisfied with what they have. They have hunger and thirst for more. If at an age of 25 you are satisfied with what you have its not worth living in this world. If you are satisfied that means that you have achieved everything in your life and there is no need for more
